Subdeacons Ordained.

First Step.
The Subdeacons.

After their subdiaconal ordination 
before the statue of Our Lady of Aberdeen
Bishop's House
Rev. Br. Yousef Marie, F.SS.R., Rev. Br. Magdala Maria, F.SS.R. and
Rev. Br. Jean Marie, F.SS.R.

According to the Constitutions of the 
Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer
"Our Students shall be ordained according to the Missal 
and Rite of Ordination in use in 1962."
(F.SS.R. Constitutions 23.3)

I'm so pleased to see that these young men are advancing towards the priesthood. Certain so-called traditionalists were critical of your community for reconciling with Rome because it was taking a while for you to receive canonical recognition, and thus you were unable to ordain your seminarians. It is so inspiring to see how your order, and these subdeacons in particular, persevered with trust in God. Now your order is of Diocesan Right, and your seminarians are well on their way to ordination. Your faith, trust, loyalty to the Holy Father, and perseverance are being rewarded. God be praised.
