Dear Fr. Michael Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that I will offer a mass for the repose of her soul and that I shall keep your father and your self and all the members of your family in my prayers. For consolation, think of these words from Saint Augustine: “just as God did not lose her when he gave her to us, we do not lose her when we give her back to God!” If there’s anything I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to ask.
