An Open Letter to the Catholic Bishops, Priests, Religious and Faithful

Dear Catholic Soul,

We have just concluded our General Chapter where we considered our Congregation and its vocation in the Church and in the Diocese of Christchurch, New Zealand where the Bishop had decreed its expulsion.

The attached letter expresses the convictions of our Congregation.

This is not a task we embrace lightly. We have considered the array of possible punishments that the hierarchy may use against us - all mentally terrifying really, yet buttressed in the knowledge that the hierarchy has broken with the chain of command, which renders it human, and spiritually null. But when Our Lord’s honour is at stake, silence becomes a form of betrayal. We therefore take up this work with trembling hearts but with firm conviction, desiring only to defend the Holy Name of Jesus Christ and the purity of His Spouse, the Church.

Every one therefore that shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father Who is in Heaven. But he that shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father Who is in Heaven.

(Matt. 10:32)

  1. Please led the way. The sheep are scattered. We have no pope but rather wolves in shepherd's clothing. V2 is straight out of hell and its leaders blind non-papal matter at best. Pope St Callistus, pray for us.

  2. 1 Maccabees 2:51-64
51 And call to remembrance the works of the fathers, which they have done in their generations: and you shall receive great glory, and an everlasting name.

52 Was not Abraham found faithful in temptation, and it was reputed to him unto justice?

53 Joseph in the time of his distress kept the commandment, and he was made lord of Egypt.

54 Phinees our father, by being fervent in the zeal of God, received the covenant of an everlasting priesthood.

55 Jesus, whilst he fulfilled the word, was made ruler in Israel.

56 Caleb, for bearing witness before the congregation, received an inheritance.

57 David by his mercy obtained the throne of an everlasting kingdom.

58 Elias, while he was full of zeal for the law, was taken up into heaven.

59 Ananias and Azarias and Misael by believing, were delivered out of the flame.

60 Daniel in his innocency was delivered out of the mouth of the lions.

61 And thus consider through all generations: that none that trust in him fail in strength.

62 And fear not the words of a sinful man, for his glory is dung, and worms:

63 To day he is lifted up, and to morrow he shall not be found, because he is returned into his earth; and his thought is come to nothing.

64 You therefore, my sons, take courage, and behave manfully in the law: for by it you shall be glorious

  15. Every. Word. Authority exists to serve the Truth. When the Authority ceases to serve the Truth, he loses his authority. These false shepherds have forced faithful Catholics to choose between the two.

  16. We pray for you continue in truth and thank you for speaking up. Very relieved to see that true Catholicism is still alive speaking the truth in charity. God bless and protect you all.

  17. I've always thought of Gal. 1:8-9 as being prophetic in the sense that we were being warned that one day the apostles (rather, their successors) would preach a different gospel and how to respond to such a scenario.

  21. Sine aspectu et decore, crucique affixa, adorando est Veritas. Without form or comeliness, and nailed to the cross, thus is Truth to be adored. - Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may give light to all that are in the house.

  22. I just wanted to congratulate you on taking this public stance.

I would strongly encourage you to get all of the priests who belong to your order whose orders in any way arise from those ordained or consecrated in the Paul VI rites conditionally ordained so that there is no doubt as to the validity of their orders.

While there is doubt as to the validity of their ordinations Catholics must follow Church teaching on the matter and treat them as though they are invalid. This means we cannot trust the sacraments at any chapel were there are a mix of priests ordained by diocesan clergy and the bishops affiliated with the SSPX, which is a horrible situation to place the faithful in.

Fix this and I have friends in Christchurch who will support your mission.

  25. What you have done takes great courage. It is never easy for any of us to admit that we made a mistake, but it is comforting to know that the mistake was made in good faith, trusting Churchmen who, it seems, no longer possess the true faith handed down. My only caution is that you do not allow your bitter disappointment to lead you into the opposite extreme of sedevacantism, which is as deadly to the soul as Modernism, driven, as it is, by bitter zeal. Take the position once again of Archbishop Lefebvre, which is firm resistance to the errors of superiors in the Church without entering into a forbidden judgement of their souls or the audacity of declaring them illicit and deposed. We must resist in charity and patience, not bitterness, until Our Lord puts an end to this crisis. He is still fully in charge of His Church despite appearances.

  26. Thanking God for the grace of His Holy Ghost for this enlightenment. You may want to reach out to those who are likeminded i.e. the Catholic Resistance (priests and Bishops who continue the position of Archbishop Lefebvre). They have a priest there in New Zealand, Rev. Fr. Edward MacDonald (formerly of the SSPX), who is a family friend of ours.

  27. Thank you all so much for taking this stand against the evils in the Church. I know that you are mainly Brothers, but we need some traveling Priests in Scotland for those of us unable to access Traditional Sacraments, but we need Priests who are known to be bona fide, not dubious Sedes. I am assuming here that I am not the only one in this position - too far from the SSPX.

If you and the SSPX (who are under-represented in Scotland) would discuss some kind of re-alliance it would be great - at least working side-by-side. I know there have been problems between you but perhaps now would be a good time for both to reconsider your positions. I have read (not confirmed) that the SSPX have discontinued conditional re-ordinations, which I (who am no expert!) believe was a mistake, if it is true. Perhaps the SSPX might also admit they haven't always made wise decisions?

Praying for you as always - and now that God will bring some greater good from your situation. May He bless you and always guide you!

  28. RE: "Come on dont make another schism. You are basically becoming protestant. Please subject to the Roman Pontiff."

Schism from what? Pachamama? Sodomite Blessings? Heretics? Whoever you are, you know not Our Lord nor His Immaculate Bride.

Blessed be God that they received the grace to see the reality that the Vatican II sect is not the Catholic Church. Ave Maria Purisima!

  29. Extreme hypocrisy, claiming to be "true Catholics" - yet acting against the teachings of the Catholic Church throughout all ages. I pray for you, who are in a position to instruct the Faithful, may you turn towards the Lord and praise him rightfully. It is unjust to turn your back to the Lord, claiming to serve Him but putting down his Words with your actions. May you recognise your wrongdoings and correct this. Repent.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Have you no shame? No Faith at all? To be misusing the name of the Lord for your personal gain, all while rejecting his teachings is on another order. I pray that you find the true path to the Lord and worship him in union with the one Catholic Church.
