The tsunami that hit Kesennuma today
is only 125 miles by road from Akita
on the West coast of Honshu
where
Our Lady of Akita
appeared in 1973
to warn of calamities.
The messages emphasize
prayer and penance.
Miracles accompanied these messages.
Sister Sasagawa who received them
was instantly cured of deafness
another person was cured of brain cancer.
After thorough investigation
these Messages were approved by the Church
on 22 April 1984.
Our Lady said to Sister Sasagawa:
"Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary.
I alone am able still to save you from
the calamities which approach."
As seen on national Japanese television.
An unusual nature of the apparitions was that,
unlike other cases,
the entire nation of Japan
was able to view the tears
of the statue of the Virgin Mary
on national television.
The miraculous image wept tears
101 times.
Here follow the main thrust of the messages received by:
Sister Agnes Sasagawa,
Order of the Handmaids of the Eucharist.
Our Lady of Akita.
JULY 6, 1973
Our Lady said:
"Pray very much for the Pope, Bishops, and Priests..."
AUGUST 3, 1973
Our Lady said:
"Many men in this world afflict the Lord.
I desire souls to console Him
to soften the anger of the Heavenly Father.
I wish, with my Son, for souls
who will repair by their suffering and their poverty
for the sinners and ingrates."
"In order that the world might know His anger,
the Heavenly Father is preparing to inflict
a great chastisement on all mankind.
With my Son I have intervened so many times
to appease the wrath of the Father.
I have prevented the coming of calamities
by offering Him the sufferings of the Son on the Cross,
His Precious Blood,
and beloved souls who console Him
forming a cohort of victim souls.
Prayer, penance and courageous sacrifices
can soften the Father's anger."
The Miraculous Tears of Our Lady of Akita.
OCTOBER 13, 1973
Our Lady said:
"As I told you,
if men do not repent and better themselves,
the Father will inflict a terrible punishment
on all humanity.
It will be a punishment greater than the deluge,
such as one will never seen before.
Fire will fall from the sky
and will wipe out a great part of humanity,
the good as well as the bad,
sparing neither priests nor faithful.
The survivors will find themselves so desolate
that they will envy the dead.
The only arms which will remain for you
will be the Rosary
and the Sign left by My Son.
Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary.
With the Rosary, pray for the Pope,
the bishops and priests."
"The work of the devil will infiltrate
even into the Church
in such a way that one will see
cardinals opposing cardinals,
bishops against bishops.
The priests who venerate me
will be scorned and opposed
by their confreres...
churches and altars sacked;
the Church will be full
of those who accept compromises
and the demon will press many priests
and consecrated souls
to leave the service of the Lord.
"The demon will be especially implacable
against souls consecrated to God.
The thought of the loss of so many souls
is the cause of my sadness.
If sins increase in number and gravity,
there will be no longer pardon for them."
"Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary.
I alone am able still to save you
from the calamites which approach.
Those who place their confidence in me will be saved."
Our Lady of Akita,
Sweet Mother of Japan,
Succour Thy suffering children
and protect us
from further calamities.

We indeed see the worst manifestations of the wrecked Church since the Second Vatican Council and this is not some confluence of predirected events or coincidence.
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Ghost, in my opinion, used the Council as a punishment for bad Catholics and the world to purify Christs Church.
Dear Fathers,
ReplyDeleteIs Akita approved?
Yes Akita was approved by the Church
ReplyDeleteafter thorough investigation
on 22 April 1984.
Very interesting... thank you so much for this information, I have never heard of Our Lady of Akita before. We must pass it on...
ReplyDeleteOur Lady has had a long and loving association with Japan. Many Japanese martyrs have shed their blood for Christ. The Hidden Christians of Nagasaki kept the Faith for 200 years after the clergy were evicted from that country several centuries ago. St Francis Xavier evangelised them in the first instance and his spirit never left them. In the 20th century a Japanese doctor married a descendent of the Hidden Christians and himself became a Catholic under her influence. His name was Takashi Ngai and he played a big part before his untimely death in getting the Japanese people to accept their suffering at the end of the Second World War as a sacrifice for the peace of the world. His story has been written by the Australian Missionary to Japan, Fr. Paul Glynn SM, now living in Sydney. It is available (in English or Japanese) for A$10.00 + p&p from Marist Fathers Publications, 1 Mary Street, Hunters Hill NSW 2110 Australia.
