100 years ago to the day

The Edenmore.

The end of the era of sailing ships was drawing closer — a demise that was hastened as the three masted sailing vessel Edenmore was wrecked on the rocks of Papa Stronsay Island on the feast of the Holy Rosary, 7th October 1909, 100 years ago to the day. The local people on the neighbouring island of Stronsay rescued all 25 of the crew. Some brief additional information can be found here.

At the time of the wreck, the Miraculous rescue of the Edenmore's Crew on that particular day was making by Our Lord through Stronsay's people.

  2. Stronsay may continue to assist to the shipwrecked moving into modernity also. As the sea can be quite rough here and there at times.

Your statement, not the ingraciating kind, causes me to ask: Do you accept that the Transalpine Redemptorists are traditional Catholics? They are. If you are angry, quite simply don't and do not visit their site, for I would take an educated guess that you are not processing on to the sites of Masons, Protestants, Pagans and witches in order to writing this kind of silly statement.

I hold no judgement against you, and I take no offence from you.

    The Church is very big.

Savinge the shipwrecked is being like another Christ.

The dilemma is only when one refuses a life line, which is offered without discrimination (recall the good thief).

Best of luck on your journey.
