About our brothers.

We hope that it is clear that
the Transalpine Redemptorists
want every Jewish person
to look upon us as their brothers.

We condemn all forms of Antisemitism
including anti-semitic conspiracy theories.

We make our own these words spoken by
Pope Pius XI:

"Mark well that in the Catholic Mass,
Abraham is our Patriarch and forefather.

Antisemitism is incompatible with the lofty thought
which that fact expresses.
It is a movement with which we Christians
can have nothing to do.

No, no, I say to you
it is impossible for a Christian
to take part in Antisemitism.
It is inadmissible.
Through Christ and in Christ
we are the spiritual progeny of Abraham.
Spiritually, we [Christians] are all Semites."
(Pius XI, 6 September 1938.)

With
Pope Benedict XVI
at
Yad Vashem
we say:

The Holocaust,
the Shoah,
was a horrific tragedy of sufferings
that should never be denied, belittled or forgotten.

  2. SHAME ON YOU! Traitors of Christ, other Judases! who have no doubt been thrown some silver pieces by the Antichrist Jews.
Have you so easily forgotten that "the Hebrews at different periods have regarded our Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostles, various Popes, the Councils and Saints of the Church as hostile to the Jews? And for a very good reason, because they regard everything as hostile to the Jews, which blames or combats their crimes and conspiracies against mankind." Both our Lord Jesus Christ as well as the Apostles and other Catholic authorities censured and fought against the blackmail of the Jews.

  3. So that true and faithful Catholics may not have the slightest doubt of testimonies that have been recorded, here is what the jewish writer Joseph Dunner writes in his book "The Republic of Israel":" For every sect believing in Christ, Jesus is the symbol of everything which is healthy and worthy of love. For the jew he is from the 4th century onward the symbol of Anti-semitism', of slander, of violence and of violent death." If the Israelites regard our Divine Lord as a symbol of "Antisemitism" is because they describe as "Antisemites" those who blame and combat their disgraceful deeds.

  4. You, Transalpine Redemptorists, posing as priests of God and taking on the name of the 'sons of the Most Holy Redeemer', are announcing now that the God-murdering people are your brothers? Please read the discussion our Lord Jesus Christ had with some Jews, as the Gospel of John relates:
Chapter VIII, Verse 39: "They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them if ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God; this did not Abraham. 44. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar and the father of it." 47. He that is of God heareth God's words;ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. 57.Then said the jews unto Him, Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?" 58. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.59. Then took they up stones to cast at him;...."

So now...you have decided that these people who took up stones to cast at your Mighty Lord and Saviour and were always seeking to kill him, are your brothers?

  5. We read this hissing comment:"So glad to see this post with the pictures" by Barb Schoeneberger, an obvious jewish name that never popped up previously on your comments profile. Please tell us HOW MUCH of stolen money from the Christians have they filled your pockets to betray Our Lord God?

  6. In Chapter XXIII of the Gospel of Matthew our LORD JESUS in reference to the Jewish leaders, who opposed him so much, describes the latter as hypocrites (V.13,14,15 etc) "full of iniquity" (Verse 28), foolish, blind (Verse 17); children of them who killed the prophets (Verse 31). The said chapter of the Holy Gospels ends with this express complaint of our Lord Jesus Christ against the jews, who denied the Messiah and resisted Him; and because of its importance we quote completely:
"Verse 33. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers! How can ye escape the damnation of hell? 34. Wherefore, behold, I send you prophets, and wise men and scribes: some of them ye shall kill and crucify: and some of them ye shall scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city.

Please tell us WHERE did our Beloved Lord tell us that the Jews, enemies of God and of all mankind, are 'our brothers'?!?!?

  7. Better than any other, Christ, the Lord, here reveals to us the murderous and cruel instincts of the Jews. This is understandable, because in the revelation which He made to His favourite disciple, and which the latter has written down in the "Apocalypse" he called the Jews, who denied their Messiah, the "Synagogue of Satan", an equally appropriate as well as divine description, which in the ensuing centuries was often used by the Holy Catholic Church as description for criminal and conspiratorial Jewry, which since its muder of the Son of God has not ceased to commit every kind of crime against God and mankind.

  8. As true followers and faithful of Christ, all Popes of the Holy Catholic Church (before the fatal Vatican Council II when the smoke of Satan had entered and Rome became the seat of the Antichrist)frequently used the expression "Synagogue of Satan" to identify modern Jewry; for one would with difficulty find a more fitting appellation than this, which had already been called as such by Christ, our Lord. It is therefore not to be wondered at,that the jewish writer Joseph Dunner in his work "The Republic of Israel", gives the assurance that the jews regard christ as the "Symbol of Antisemitism", all the more as many Christians and gentiles have been accused of "Antisemitism" on account of far milder attacks.

  9. It is therefore dangerous, that the good-willed Christian clergy allow themselves to be torn away by those, who are not. To let loose general and unclear condemnations of "Antisemitism", which exposes them to the danger of condemning even CHRIST, our Redeemer, his Apostles, the Saints and Popes, described by the "Synagogue of Satan" as "Antisemites" because the Jews afterwards attempt to use such condemnation as a new carte blanche which justifies them in furthering every kind of crime, offence and conspiracy against mankind and to secure freedom from punishment for themselves, so that the former cannot even effectively defend themselves against them.

We advise you to urgently read the book "The Plot against the Church" by the penname of Maurice Pinay, from which these extracts have been taken. The true authors are the faithful princes and prelates of the Holy Catholic Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ, our LORD GOD said: "You are either with Me or against Me. You cannot be both."

  11. "We hope that it is clear that the Transalpine redemptorists want every Jewish person to look on us as their brothers." Rreahhllly !!! So what on earth are you doing in the Catholic Church? You are proving yourselves time and time again to be FALSE.

If Pope Pius XI has said that Abraham is our forefather and that racism is unacceptable among Christians, he did NOT say that the Jews are the brothers of Christians. God forbid! For our Lord Jesus Christ said, as the Gospel of St John relates: Chapter VIII, Verse 39: "They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them if ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I heard of God; this did not Abraham."

It is VERY clear therefore from the words of Our Divine Lord JESUS CHRIST that the Jews do NOT have Abraham as their forefather. Although Pope Pius XI has said that racism is unacceptable among Christians, it is on the other hand strongly existant and brutally applied in Judaism. So, Transalpine Redemptorists, if once again some new ideas are emerging in your heads and you find all of a sudden that the Jews are your brothers, therefore remove these sheep's clothing for the wolf in you has shown its face.

  12. "But he willing to justify himself, said to Jesus: And who is my neighbour? And Jesus answering, said: A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who also stripped him, and having wounded him went away, leaving him half dead.

And it chanced, that a certain priest went down the same way: and seeing him, passed by. In like manner also a Levite, when he was near the place and saw him, passed by. But a certain Samaritan being on his journey, came near him; and seeing him, was moved with compassion. And going up to him, bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and setting him upon his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day he took out two pence, and gave to the host, and said: Take care of him; and whatsoever thou shalt spend over and above, I, at my return, will repay thee.

Which of these three, in thy opinion, was neighbour to him that fell among the robbers? But he said: He that shewed mercy to him. And Jesus said to him: Go, and do thou in like manner."
    (Lk 10, 29-37)

Every human person is our brother.
Thank you Transalpine redemptorists for your statement.

  13. In times past I was swayed by the arguments of our anonymous poster. I was a supporter of Bishop Williamson. It is a point of view that still gives me pause, given its undeniable roots in certain aspects of Catholic Tradition. However, I'm not at all attracted by the spirit of schism that seems always to be associated with such arguments, so I've decided to keep my distance from them.

  16. "Antisemitism"

    Hatred of the Jewish race.

Tell me, wordy Anonymous, where does our Lord tell us to hate any *race* of fellow human beings by sheer force of... their genetics?

Where does our Lord command us to hate human beings created in the likeness and image of God Himself, holding within them their *God-given* human dignity ~ based on their race?

Antisemitism is racism ~ and therefore it is WRONG and goes sharply against the Law of God. Yes, the Jews *are* our brothers because they are **fellow human beings** created, like us, by the same God and descended, like the rest of us, from Adam and Eve.

Every human being on this planet is the brother of every other human being. No amount of HATE can erase that fact.

  17. A beautiful post Father! It is so sad to see that so many so called “traditional Catholics” do not know the basics of our faith/religion. Christ CHOSE to die for the sins of the world-yours and mine. Yes, certain Jews hated him but so did many gentiles, as do people today. But other Jews accepted Yeshua as their Messiah. St. Peter our first pope was Jewish! So were all the other apostles the first priests and bishops of the Catholic Church-excepting St. Luke! Sure, professed Jews today might live sinful lives but so do many people who call themselves Catholics- Nancy Pelosi, and John Kerry for example. Instead of being so filled with hate, we must pray for the conversion of our Jewish brothers and sisters to Yeshua the Messiah- to Catholicism.
