They are beautiful old Stations.
The last three, closest to the altar,
are markedly darker than the others
reflecting sorrow and the darkness that covered the earth.

ReplyDeleteFather, the chapel is truly magnificent. What beautiful stations! The people of Stronsay are blessed.
ReplyDeleteThe chapel of my dreams!
ReplyDeleteThe chapel is lovely, thank you Father.
ReplyDeleteBehold the Ark of Noah, a ship fit, by the Grace of God, to weather the heavy seas of this world.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspiration! :-)
A House of Prayer! I can clearly see the Tenth (X) Station and these are the very same pictures as the Stations of the Cross in St Patrick's Church, Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia. So beautiful and touching. How lovely the star-spangled ceiling, also!
ReplyDeleteAs a result, I made the Stations of the Cross at St Patrick's on the First Friday of December in union with those doing so in this chapel.
ReplyDeleteIf I could erect a chapel some day, this would be a guide on how to do it.
