Faciem meam non averti ab increpantibus, et conspuentibus in me.
I have not turned my face away from them that rebuked me and spit upon me.
(Lesson from the Mass of Holy Monday - Isaias 50:6)
May the Most Holy, Most Sacred, Most Adorable,
Most Incomprehensible and Unutterable Name of God
be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified,
in Heaven on earth and in the hells,
by all the creatures of God
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.
(The Golden Arrow prayer
given in 1843 by Our Lord to Ven. Sr. Mary of St Peter)
Our Lord revealed to Venerable Sister Mary of St Peter, that the sin of blasphemy greatly offends him. Blasphemy and abusing His Holy Name is as spitting into His Holy Face. He said:
"I seek Veronicas to wipe and venerate My Divine Face, which has but few adorers!"
And then he assured me that all persons who would apply themselves to this Work of Reparation would perform the same service in His behalf as she did.
(October 27, 1845)
For many months several women in Christchurch have been preparing to consecrate their lives entirely to God. Two have made perpetual vows of Chastity. Four more are ready to do so.
I invite you to offer alms of reparation so that a house in or around Christchurch, may be purchased and given to the Holy Face of Jesus for women consecrated to Him.
Alms-giving is a reparation for sins. The Lenten season of alms-giving is coming to an end.
Invest your alms in a house consecrated to make reparation for blasphemy.
Alms and donations may be sent via the PayPal with the note 'Reparation'. Or by contacting me through the contact button on this page.
A three bedroom house in Christchurch costs about $400,000 NZ Dollars.
($277,000 USD; £224,000 GBP). The purchase itself is a worthy act of reparation.
Please spread the word and help me to find this house for consecrated Veronicas.
My best and prayerful wishes to you for a fruitful Holy Week.
Devotedly,
Father Michael Mary, F.SS.R.
Rector Major
