Dear Rev. Fr. Michael Mary, F.SS.R. ,
I am very pleased to know that the Holy Father, Benedict XVI, has nominated the Rt. Rev. Fr. Hugh Gilbert, O.S.B. - a Benedictine Monk - Bishop of the diocese of Aberdeen.
By definition, a Monk is an exceptionally wealthy man and, as a Bishop, he is destined to take into the diocese the serenity and the simple rules of the monastic life infusing spirituality in any single act or statement.
May God bless the Rt. Rev. Fr. Hugh Gilbert, O.S.B.
Excuse my ignorance but does this mean that Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer are now canonically erected?
God bless.
