The first Pontifical Mass of Bishop Michael Mary was celebrated today in the Oratory of Our Lady of Casalibus on Papa Stronsay.
The stones you see in its walls were rebuilt from the 12th century church of St Nicholas during the 1800s. For how many centuries were Masses celebrated between these stones!

It appears that your statement needs a reply: The reference bears entirely in the present, not in the past history of the TLM in Christchurch. There was no reference to Bp Jones or any other situation from the past. The reference concerned only the present three year appointment of a priest from Australia to serve the TLM in Kaiapoi.
